Notes from New Zealand

I gained a true suburban experience in Auckland. These included Ponsonby, Birkenhead and most notably Devonport. Devonport with (probably) 87m tall Mount Victoria overlooking Auckland Central Business District from the opposite side. [According to the National Library Board’s Singapore Infopedia, Bukit Timah Hill is 162.5m.]

Mount Eden is another extinct volcano at 196m (similar to Mount Victoria with scoria cones).

Devonport is also home to the master glass artist, Peter Raos. (Let the works from the Corning Museum of Glass speak for him!)

In the past, I had encouraged students to digest/analyse/organise information by creating their own ‘content pages’ of texts. Below is my ‘content page’ listing of the fortnightly ‘The Devonport Flagstaff‘. (27 Nov 2015)
